The Green is gone. :)

Probably last summer I decided I was going to paint my family room "green". I thought I could get slip covers for my blue furniture. That never happened! Tam-e, Bobby & the kids were coming here for Easter. Tam-e said she would stay until the next day to help me paint the room, if I wanted. Of course, I said yes! (Of course, I love being with my kids. All my kids are great kids!!! Even my grandchildren!!!!!)

She had asked me what color I wanted it to be......I had no idea. If I did, I would have had it painted long before now. She remembered she had a paint swatch in her van that she thought would go good in the room. (She was going to paint her laundry room that color.) Wesley went to the van to get the swatch for her. It looked good with the blue furniture. I said, "Lets go with it!!!"

She & Bobby did the majority of painting as I watched. They did a great job!

I wasn't overly thrilled with the color, Mount Rainier. It looked like it would be for a little boys room.

Now that's all painted and the room is back together, it looks great!
Tam-e said I should paint the mantel.
It's still not done, haven't been to Wal-Mart long enough to look for paint.

Decorations would help too. I'm one of those that it has to say "take me home" before I buy it. (And then there are those times...........you just buy, buy, buy.)

Thank you Tam-e & Bobby for painting my family room!!! It looks GREAT!
(Sorry, I noticed I use "great" a lot. I must really like that word.)

Yea! You finally posted!

The color of the room looks good in the pictures. I am glad that it has grown on you. It is not an overpowering blue either. Mantel and even the whole fireplace might look good painted! Not sure when I will get my next painting job done!

I think it looks "great" and we were happy to do it for you!

Sorry......I didn't realize when I was taking the photos that I didn't get any faces.

When I posted........I thought "Oh, Tam-e will love this". (I'm being sarcastic here.)

What's the next painting job for you?

I don't have much left to paint, just large areas. I have the basement, the foyer and the dining room. I would love to get it all done soon but we will see.
