Mommy's back to work

Twelve weeks off after having a baby isn't much time AND that time goes rather quickly! Anjie is now back to work and I am watching Alea on Thursday's.

Last Thursday was June 19th.....we did lots of running around. (I was told one time I like to keep the roads hot. I guess if you have things to do, you have things to do.)

Regardless....we had fun. And time went so fast that day.

Today was my second day to watch the baby. I had forgotten to take any pictures last week, so I made sure I got the camera out. When Alea was sitting on the loveseat, her little feet were just moving around. She was talkin' and smilin'. So cute!

Before you know it, she'll be one and we'll wonder where the time went.

The Walls are painted!

You can't tell what color the chairs are from this picture, but they coordinate with the walls really well. They are a green plaid.

I guess I didn't realize I had not taken a final picture of the kitchen, but you can see Stacy is helping with the painting.

Now I need to get started on the curtains. They should be simple to do, just straight lines, but it's the getting started that's my problem.

We're having a yard sale this weekend, family reunion, and our regular work hours too. So maybe sometime next week those will get done.

Stacy is moving

As you enter into the condo, this is what you see.



Getting closer to the kitchen there is a closet for the washer & dryer and the half bath to the left hand side of the picture.

Looking from the kitchen you see the front window.



This made me smile and feel appreciated.

Stacy did 99% of the trim work while I painted the "larger" part of the walls.

We had to paint it twice. Ugh!
