I've SEEN it ALL!!!!

On my way home from church today, I noticed this person walking in their front yard. I couldn't believe what I was about to see next........Oh MY!

I thought they were "mooning" a neighbor, but NOPE.....they were getting prepared to go to the bathroom in their yard. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

It apparently wasn't their first time doing this....the way they were positioned, indicated they had done this before. I guess the animal comes out in some!!!

On that note, HAVE a GREAT & WONDERFUL DAY.........................don't get caught with your pants down! Ha!

I was invited to attend the Kinnard Reunion on July 4th. This wasn't the typical reunion. Laura Lee's sisters and niece were coming home for a visit. Although she wanted to invite others, she thought she would limit it to the ones who knew her sister's the most.

It was a nice day. Even the weather was good. A bit chilly at times (sun not out), but good. The rain held off for us.

As usual I slept most of the way going up and 99.9% of the way coming back. I was tired. Thanks Steve for driving and asking me to tag-a-long! It was good to see the family.

As I drove home from Stacy's on Sunday. I noticed the sun was a pretty color. Of course, the colors didn't show up in the photo. It looks like a big ball on top of the trees.

Since it just came to my mind that in ten days. BJ & Anjie will be married "5" years.

I have a tendency to forget the anniversary's so.....I'm telling you now before I forget....

Learned Something New

These were taken at a park in Logan, Ohio. Above.....before..........Below.....after.............As if you didn't already know that!
Not long ago I was thinking to myself that I wanted to know how photographers took black & white photo's with a dash of color. Even though I did not pray about this information, God knew I wanted to know and gave me the answer. He is an awesome God. He cares even about the small stuff. Praise you Father!
Over the weekend, I found out that answer. I have that capability on my camera and I didn't even know it! Yea!!

A cousin was asking me if I could teach her anything new about her camera. (They are similar.) Unless someone tells me how to work what I have, I don't try to figure things out on my own. This digital camera has features I probably still have no clue of where or what to do with them.......but I am "so" happy that she taught me something new. Thanks Tami.

Family Reunion

Sunday, June 29th, 2008 was the 29th year reunion on my mother's side.

It's always fun to get together to see your aunts & uncles, and cousins that you grew up with.

When I was quite a bit younger and my parents were living, of course. We would go on "Sunday rides" and ended up at different relatives for a visit. By the time it took to "warm up" to my cousin to play, it was time to go home. (It was probably hours we were there, but seemed like only minutes we were able to play together.)

Ahhh.....yes, the "Sunday rides". Hated 'em! Getting to any destination was great.....it was the "get there" I didn't like. My father "loved" taking back roads. (I never knew where we were. I would sleep in the back seat.) I didn't want to stay home, they'd always end up doing something interesting and you would miss out if you weren't with them.

One thing you did want to do was tell Dad that you wanted to stop to get ice cream. He wouldn't turn around after you passed the place, you had to tell him before you got there. He would "always" stop too.

Back to the reunion. Debbie, Todd's wife, suggested we take a group picture. After some deliberation, we had a plan. I believe it was a good plan too. We were able to get everyone together, smiling, and all facing the same direction. We even sang "Kumbaya My Lord". Although there were probably 4 -5 camera's going at once, I believe the first picture I took was the best one for me. (Hope everyone else's photo came out.)

I would love to see many more attending in 2009.

One last thing......on the way home, my daughter, Tam-e remembers the reunion we had at John & Bonnie's home where they made a "very long" ice cream sundae.

We need more exciting things like that so the younger generation will want to attend, get to know their cousins better, and have fun. It may take a little time to "warm up", but once they did, they wouldn't want to leave.
