In a few more minutes it will be April 11th. Alexis will turn 6 years old.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS!!!!
I was fortunate enough to see three of my grandchildren being born. That was so, so awesome. The life just growing inside of a mother is amazing in itself, but being able to see that miracle of life that has grown inside come to be a living being, is indescribable.
The second child I was able to see their birth happened to be Alexis's. As the time approached to Tam-e's due date, I went to stay with them. One week later, Tam-e comes into my room jumping up & down saying she was in labor, it was time to go to the hospital. Approximately, twelve hours later, I had the video camera going to capture the arrival of the new baby. (Tam-e, later, would call it "The Baby Movie".)
Alexis, I hope you have a wonderfully delightful birthday, do something fun, and eat a piece of cake for Memaw.

Awe...she looks so different with the long hair! I told her you posted something on your blog. I will have to read it to her later. Time had gotten away from us this morning!
I need to head out and get her gift and go grocery shopping!

Oh, and maybe we will watch her birthing video today! I think she would like that!
